FotoFacial® is a popular, FDA-approved skin rejuvenation treatment that implements intense pulsed-light (IPL) technology through a handheld flash-lamp to treat many skin conditions. Photofacials can treat conditions such as brown spots, age spots, broken capillaries, spider veins, rosacea, facial redness, flushing, hyper-pigmentation, and unwanted freckles. In addition, FotoFacial® also provides a youthful glow and fuller look by promoting collagen growth over time. In other words, this IPL photofacial is an effective and convenient all-around skin rejuvenation treatment that lasts.

What to Expect From Your FotoFacial®

This advanced skin technology works by delivering bright pulses of visible and infra-red light at very high energy levels through a handheld device. These heat pulses shrink pigmented skin cells and visible vessels, leaving the skin smooth, healthy, and younger-looking.

The FotoFacial® procedure takes roughly 30 to 45 minutes for each treatment. The recommendation for best results is three to four treatments at one-month intervals. The light and heat created from the flash-lamp may generate minimal discomfort in the treatment area.

FotoFacial® Recovery

FotoFacial® Recovery

Immediately following your intense pulsed light therapy photofacial, the skin may appear red and flushed, with visible tiny capillaries improved and any brown spots appearing darker. Some clients will experience minimal swelling for a few days, and those who have significant sun damage may experience several days of dead skin cell loss. Aside from that, there is essentially no downtime or recovery needed after having a FotoFacial®.
